Looks like the seat Ong Ka Ting is on right now is up for some hot contention.
Chua Jiu Meng not ruling out comeback bid
SUBANG JAYA, May 3 ─ Former MCA vice-president Datuk Chua Jui Meng said he is not ruling out the possibility of contesting the top post in the coming MCA election, but admitted that making a political comeback will not be easy for him.
“I want to help, but I have not made any decision on what I want to do in politics,” he told a press conference before attending the opening ceremony of the Malaysia-India Economic Conference 2008 yesterday.
The ceremony was attended by, among others, Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia Ashok Kantha, Small-and-Medium Industries Association of Malaysia (SMIAM) national president Chua Tiam Wee and Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MAICCI) president Datuk Pardip Kumar Kukreja.
Chua, a former Health Minister, said after spending 40 years in politics, he now needs to review whether he was still relevant in the MCA and decide whether he should contest any post in the coming party election.
Chua, who is the Bakri MCA division chief, had on April 15 announced that he might contest the MCA top post in the Oct 18 party election.
A day later another former MCA vice-president Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek was reported as saying that he might also challenge party president Dato Seri Ong Ka Ting in the party election. ─ Bernama

So now there are 2 Chua’s going after Ong Ka Ting’s spot at the top of MCA. I wonder if Ong Ka Ting’s brother is going to contest as well? Then it can be two Ong’s versus two Chua’s.
No comments about this yet, I’ll just sit back and enjoy the show.
