PKR lodges ACA report against BalkisPosted: May 3, 2008
Finally, some action is being done. The Selangor state government is finally lodging a report with ACA against Balkis. And it’s about time too. Either side had to do something legally to settle the case. Or else it would have just carried on forever.
Balkis fund transfer: PKR lodges ACA report
SHAH ALAM, May 3 ─ Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) yesterday lodged a report with the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) over the transfer of funds by the Wives of Selangor Assemblymen and MPs Welfare and Charity Organisation (Balkis).
Selangor PKR information chief Mohd Nasharudin Abdul Aziz alleged that the transfer of RM9.9 million to the Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti) was against the Balkis constitution.
He said the 15-page report was made to Selangor ACA officer Mohd Anuar Ismail.
“We were told this was the first report on the wife of former Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo (Datin Seri Zahrah Kechik, who was then Balkis president),” he said. ─ Bernama

Now let’s see what happens to the investigations. ACA Selangor can rest assured that a lot of eyes will be on them now, and they had better come up with a satisfactory investigation, and some very fair conclusions. Everything has to be explained for. And the RM9.9 million which is supposed to be with Bakti right now should be brought out into the open, just to confirm that the money is really where it is supposed to be.
