Yet another blogger arrested under Sedition Act

UPDATE: According to kickdefella: “Bakaq or his real name is Abdul Rashid Abu Bakar has contributed a lot in revealing the hidden agenda of the infamous Muzakarah between PAS and UMNO. It is so damaging that the Deputy President of PAS, Nasharuddin Mat Isa has made a threat to sue him although later it was proven that much of what Bakaq has revealed is true.”

___________

Penarikbeca may not be as famous a blogger as Rocky or RPK, but a blogger nonetheless. Been unable to go onto his blog.

Found out that he has been arrested from Nat Tan’s blog HERE, where he got his information from Amin Iskandar.

Don’t know what it is that penarikbeca wrote that called on this arrest, but being charged for sedition is not a small matter.

To fellow bloggers reading this, I say let’s spread the news.

Now, I am all for justice. However when I looked at the last para of Amin`s writing, I am pelplexed as to how can such a call be made when we do not even know what the offence is all about.

If he had committed an offence, do we support blindly?

No, I don’t think we should blindly support anything. However, I do think it apt to spread the news.

i always read his blog.. almost everyday… he’s a PAS supporter, in fact the strong & loyal one. what is written is what he felt and knew. he critized whenever he wanted to…

it’s unfair when the news written were the truth!

Makes me wonder what constitute sedition.

Bakaq’s writing is very critical but I thought it was hardly seditious in nature. Then again, the interpretation of the law baffles me but are there 2 sets of laws?
