Another video clip

Yesterday, I left you with a short video documentary produced by my friend and her friends for a college assignment. If you haven’t watched it, I urge you to. It’s good. Click HERE or HERE.

Today, I’m going to leave you with another short clip, this time a short movie of about 12 minutes.

Part 1

Part 2

I promise that it will be worth your time. And tomorrow, while the colourful parade is going on to celebrate Merdeka, think about this video, and the video from yesterday.

Selamat Hari Merdeka, if you’re still in the mood to celebrate. I, on the other hand, will be lighting a candle for the ISA detainees who are anything BUT merdeka.

As an ordinary Malaysian, i am in no mood for this year celebration, seeing the rising racism and religious extremism in the country, couple with rising crime rate, unemployment rate, cost of living n various ills infecting the country, only the wealthy and corrupt power can afford to celebrate this time. 51 years since independence, BN is still talking about “unity” into this year merdeka theme, while continue its racist policy of racial discrimination in the country.

In Malaysia today, we find that despite of the advancement made by this nation in all fields, women sadly have not been given their due respect and place in society by the male chauvinistic BN/Umno regime. Women often found themselves to be the target of crude sexual remarks by BN lawmakers even in Parliament. Farish A. Noor wrote on the MalaysiaVotes website :Go to
